Green Beans with Tomato Sauce

Servings: 4-6 Prep time: 15 minutes       Cooking time: 30 minutes


1 bag of fresh or frozen green beans

1 medium onion

1 small can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)




  1. Cube onion and saute in oil on low heat to soften without browning.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes, ½ t salt, ½ t cumin, and the green beans.
  3. Cover the pot, lower the heat, and cook for 30 minutes, mixing occasionally.
